Blazing Burgers is a hole-in-the-wall diner located along JP Rizal near the end of Zapote Road in Makati. Nearby landmarks would be PRC, Tides PRC and The Circuit, Makati.
The best thing about Blazing Burgers, aside from it’s affordable pricepoint- is, well, it’s burgers. For those lucky enough to be residing near this area of Makati, it’s a good alternative to have when you’re craving for a burger but what you want is:
1) something different naman from a fastfood-style burger (kakasawa na kasi)
2) a burger that does not come from a machine (see what I did there? 😛 )
3) a gourmet-style burger that does not break the wallet.
Their specialty, I assume- would be with there ‘spicy’ or ‘blazing’ selection. Just be informed though, that the burgers with the word “blazing” in their name does not necessarily mean that it’s spicy.
They also offer a few side dishes to complement their burgers.
WHAT WE ORDERED:
Blazing Aloha, Blazing Aloha with Bacon, Ultimate Cheezy Blazing Burger (see photos above)
The burger patties are grilled, and while they are not “brothers” burger- they are definitely worth a try– especially for this kind of price-point. The ingredients used are fresh, especially the veggies (tomatoes, lettuce etc). All-in-all one serving is satisfying. If there would be an improvement, it’s probably the bread bun used- but it’s not a big deal, considering the over-all experience.
WHAT WE ORDERED:
Regular Fries, Blazing Fries, Blazing Nachos (see photos above)
Overall, these are all just OK. Nothing special, but it’s not bad either. The fries is probably something you can buy from the supermarket and prepare at home. Same goes with the nachos. Also, I wanted some Mayo for my fries but I was told that they can only give us catsup~
which is not really a big deal
And I forgot to mention, they offer delivery now- just not sure if they service places outside Makati. Just call them to make sure 🙂
Also, we usually order here for take-out. And If ever you do decide to “dine-in”, know that you’ll actually be ‘dining out’ since you’ll be eating by the side of JP Rizal with passing vehicles an arm’s length away (wait, does that mean that it’s Al Fresco? =D ) All in all, we enjoyed what we had here @ Blazing Burgers, I do recommend trying it out if you pass by the area 🙂
